What is the Safaricom Daraja API?
Daraja is Safaricom's developer platform that provides REST API access to M-Pesa services including STK Push, C2B, B2C, account balance, transaction status and reversal APIs. We use Daraja to build all our M-Pesa integrations.
How long does M-Pesa integration take?
Simple STK Push integrations take 5-7 business days. Full C2B + B2C + reconciliation systems typically take 2-3 weeks depending on your system's complexity and existing API capabilities.
What do I need to start?
You need a registered Safaricom Pay Bill or Till Number for C2B, and a valid shortcode for B2C. We can assist with the Safaricom business registration process if you don't have these yet.
What programming languages do you use?
