No, HR works standalone, but the two are designed to connect directly - if you run both, staff changes made in HR flow straight into the next payroll run automatically through a read-only bridge.

Is our HR data secure?

HR data is encrypted locally on-device, with a two-factor authentication setup and a full audit log tracking who accessed or changed what - the same sensitivity treatment you'd expect from a dedicated HR system.

Can employees access their own payslips and request leave themselves?

Yes - there's a self-service portal for payslips, leave requests and personal details, plus a manager view scoped to each manager's own direct reports.
